PearTune MSO 4.0 For Specialized 2.0/2.1/2.2
PearTune MSO 4.0 For Specialized 2.0/2.1/2.2
How does PearTune MSO Specialized 4.0 work?
PearTune Brose MSO 4.0 Specialized 2.0/2.1/2.2 is connected to the motor’s original connectors using matching plugs. PearTune MSO 4.0 is an advanced tuning device that removes the e-bike’s 25 km/h speed limit and offers a wide range of additional features for bikes equipped with a Specialized 2.0/2.1/2.2 motor. PearTune Specialized 2.0/2.1/2.2 is activated using the light button on your bike’s display.
PearTune is connected inline between the speed sensor and display cables. The display’s power supply is used as the power source for the tuning box. All data such as current / average / maximum speed, distance traveled, etc. remain accurate. The only difference is that after installation you decide how fast you want to ride. The only limit to top speed is your pedaling cadence.
With PearTune MSO Specialized 4.0 you can set yourself whether the tuning is automatically on or off when the e-bike is switched on. Version 4.0 also includes the “Lock the Chip” function, which makes the tuning module practically invisible to others.
Features:
- Installation: To the original connectors
- Activation: Via the light button (depending on the system, some models require a quick double press of the light button) or with the + - + - buttons
- Display shows: real values
Compatible with motors:
- Specialized 2.0/2.1/2.2
- Also Enviolo automatic gear hubs
Warning:
Please note that using e-bikes modified in this way on public roads may be illegal. The manufacturer and retailer accept no responsibility for any damage resulting from the use of PearTune products. We strongly recommend using additional safety features and protective gear to help prevent injuries.
We do not recommend updating your bike’s software; updates may affect the operation of the tuning box.
PearTune MSO 4.0 for Specialized 2.0/2.1/2.2 motors – Key features
- No more 25 km/h speed limit
- Maximum speed adjustment: The top speed can be individually adjusted in 1 km/h increments using the e-bike’s control buttons (+ and –)
- Speed display remains accurate even when tuning is active
- Chip Lock (“Lock the chip”): This function makes the tuning module practically undetectable. Chip Lock can be activated via the e-bike’s control buttons. When enabled, the tuning chip is locked in software and its presence cannot be detected. The bike and display work normally, but tuning cannot be activated. The chip can only be unlocked after a certain time has passed by using a special key combination, after which tuning can be used again.
- Activating tuning: The tuning module can be switched on or off using the e-bike’s control buttons (by pressing the light switch or by quickly pressing the + and – buttons twice). The display briefly indicates whether tuning has been activated or deactivated.
- Startup mode: You can define whether tuning is automatically on or off when the bike is switched on.
- Chip Reset: If the speed sensor or PearTune module is replaced or connected to another bike, a chip reset can be performed. You can then choose whether to keep the current settings or restore the factory settings.
- Distance correction: When tuning is active, the real distance traveled is not shown while riding. PearTune 4.0 lets you define how the missing kilometers are added – for example only when stopped, while riding, or both.
- Switching between the standard and “STILL ON” versions: In the STILL ON version, tuning is always active as soon as the bike is switched on. This is suitable for e-bikes that do not have the necessary control buttons to manage tuning.
- No separate battery required: Power is supplied directly from the display connector.
- Plug & Play installation: Easy and quick installation using original connectors.
- Compact and lightweight: The module is small, easy to position, and weighs only 12 grams
