The CYCLUS TOOLS chain wear gauge quickly and accurately tells you when it's time to replace your chain. A worn chain impairs gear shifting and unnecessarily wears down cogs, chainrings, and derailleur pulleys.

This gauge features two measurement pins that always measure the chain from the same side at the rollers between the inner plates. This means the results aren’t affected by roller size or play. A spring-loaded third pin tightens the chain during measurement, ensuring your finger pressure doesn't influence the outcome. The easy-to-read scale shows when the chain has stretched 1%—that's when it needs to be replaced.
