VISCOSITY OPTIMIZED FOR LONG DISTANCES

The elastic, chain-clinging formula of Rex Domestique chain oil keeps your chain efficiently lubricated even on the longest rides. The ability of Rex to stay on the chain has been tested on track motorcycles at speeds of up to 300 km/h, with excellent results.

You can notice the unique composition already when applying Rex chain oil: the formation of thin strands as the chain comes off the derailleur jockey wheel is completely normal. Once Domestique penetrates inside the chain, it stays there.

COMBINES THE BEST FEATURES OF DRY AND WET CHAIN OILS

Rex chain oil has been tested year-round for over two years in every imaginable use case, both off-road and on the road. Domestique chain oil combines the staying power of thicker chain oils with the dirt-repelling properties of lighter oils.

In dry summer conditions, a single application keeps the drivetrain quiet and efficient for up to 500 km. In typical use, only a quick wipe with dry paper or a cloth is needed before reapplication, since the dirt-repelling components prevent grime from entering the inside of the chain. The best lubrication performance is achieved after 3–4 applications, once Rex has completely displaced the previous lubricants.

SOLVENT-FREE, NON-EVAPORATING, UNDILUTED

Most chain oils on the market contain volatile solvents or even water. This is an effective way to cut manufacturing costs, but at Rex we took a different approach. Every drop of Rex is 100% lubricant; everything you put on the chain stays there and does not evaporate into the air.
